How Do I Add/Remove Admin Users?

How to add a new Cognni Admin, or adjust the account status of an existing one.

Your Cognni account can have an unlimited amount of admin users (although we recommend assigning admin access only to necessary individuals). An Admin user will be able to log into your Cognni account, view and adjust any public Watchlist entries and add additional admin users.

Adding Additional Admins

  1. To add a new Admin user, log into your account and click on the account icon located on the top right-hand side of your screen

  2. Click on ‘Cognni Admin’

  3. Here you'll find a list of the existing Cognni admins in your account. Click on 'Invite admin'

  4. Type in the email address of the new admin and press 'Enter' on your keyboard

  5. Confirm the email address entered is correct and then click 'Next'

  6. That's it! The new admin will now be able to login into your Cognni dashboard with his credentials, via our login page


Suspending Admin Rights

  1. To suspend a user’s Admin rights, navigate to the Cognni admin page by clicking on the account icon located on the top right side of your screen

  2. Locate the admin user that you wish to suspend and click on the three dots on found on the left side of their name.

  3. Make sure you have chosen the right user and then click on 'block admin'

  4. That's it! The chosen user will no longer be able to login to your Cognni dashboard
